Dog Grooming
Happy Hounds Groom all types and breeds of dogs
The grooming procedure consists of :
- Nails Cut and filed
- Ears plucked of excess hair and cleansed
- Eyes cleaned and debris removed
- Glands checked and released if needed
- Pads shaved of unwanted hair in order to keep hound cool and prevention of matting due to muddy paws
- Removal of mats and pre bath cut
- Shampooed according to coat type eg: Black , white, greasy, also a flea treatment shampoo is available if needed, all shampoos are Hypo allergenic based on natural ingredients designed to use on dirty coats ensuring clean deodorised results.
- Conditioned leaving coats fresh healthy shiny and soft. for those with skin conditions a re-moisturising skin conditioner is used to help prevent dryness of skin.
- Dried and professionally cut to bread standard or trimmed as the owners request. Short haired breeds will be stripped of dead hair.
Once the cut is complete and your hound is looking lovely a professional deodorising perfume is sprayed leaving your hound smelling wonderful, Finishing Bows are also available if requested.
* Grooming takes 2-3 Hours you are welcome to stay or i will contact you 20 mins prior to your hound being ready for collection.
For those Hounds who are a bit more difficult to groom Muzzles are available, but only if necessary.
